Salon hire FAQ

Q: Is it possible to visit the center prior to the event to look around? A: Yes. Please write to agnes.bartus@ambiorixcenter.eu to fix an appointment.

Q: How can the guests be seated in the Salon? A: We can arrange 30-40 chairs facing the big windows or the office room - theatre style OR we can put 4-6 tables in the middle of the Salon and 20-30 chairs around - boardroom style.

Q: Is it possible to host a hybrid event at the center? A: Yes. There is a big TV screen, speakers, laptop computer, webcam, professional studio lighting, YETI table microphone and broadband internet connected via cable to ensure a robust connection and smooth running of a webinar / hybrid event. In addition, there is a back-up 4G connection to a mobile network in case of emergency.

Q: Is there technical assistance available? A: Yes. The booking includes an additional 60 minutes prior to the event to do the setup with the help of a colleague who is there during the whole event to help with technical issues.

Q: Do you serve any drinks during the events? A: Yes. There is a Nespresso coffee machine with various choices of coffee capsules, but we also make regular coffee in thermos and hot water in thermos for tea / there is a selection of fruit teas and green teas. Regular milk and oat milk is served in little jugs. We serve still water in bottles. Choice of snacks: cookies, peanuts and / or a fruit basket.

Studio hire FAQ

Q: Is the venue EPSO / proctor-compliant? Yes, the Studio room is set up according to EPSO requirements. More than 50 people have chosen to sit their remotely proctored EPSO tests in our center in 2023.

Q: Is there stable internet? A: Yes, our modem is located in the studio to ensure stable WIFI connection and there is a back-up 4G connection to a mobile network in case of emergency. There are LAN cables and converters available too.

Q: What is the keyboard layout? A: Our desktop PC has an AZERTY keyboard, the laptop a QWERTY keyboard.

Q: Is there technical assistance available? A: Yes. The booking includes additional 30 minutes prior to the exam to do the setup with the help of a colleague.

Q: What equipment is available for me to use? A: PC desktop or laptop computer with 19-inch monitors, YETI microphone, BOSE speakers, green screen backdrop, professional studio lighting (2 lights), Logitech C920 Pro HD Webcam (2), tripod, various cables and converters compatible with USB and USBc inputs. EPSO candidates only need to bring their ID and their unique Password to enter the ProProctor App.
